Part of the recruitment team would be first to find out what Newman has been doing? You may find he's been busting a gut and being ignored by Moyes and G&S. It may be you don't need a recruitment team.

I would hand our outgoing chairman a golden handshake voucher which would enable him to purchase a three piece suite from a reputable furniture maker rather than allow him to spend a fortune on something gaudy which looks like he picked it up from the Land of Leather...
